The Smart Post – Post Grid, Post Carousel, Post Slider Gutenberg Blocks for Blog & News plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.7. This is due to missing check for password protection before returning raw post content and password data in an unauthenticated AJAX action, and inclusion of the full post object (including post_password) in the JSON response. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to read the content and stored password of password-protected posts via an unauthenticated AJAX request.
