LukasApps CAPTCHA tools for Contact Form 7 0.1.7 - 0.1.8 - Unauthenticated Arbitrary Shortcode Execution
The LukasApps CAPTCHA tools for Contact Form 7 plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution in versions 0.1.7 through 0.1.8. This is due to use of do_shortcode as a callback on the wpcf7_form_elements filter, which caused the WordPress shortcode parser to be run over the entire rendered form output including user-supplied field values. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to execute arbitrary shortcodes registered on the site by injecting shortcode syntax into Contact Form 7 field values that are then processed by the global WordPress shortcode parser.
